In the way the moon
Is proof of the sun
You are the heart of me,
The ladder that
Helps me fall safely.
Darkness is nothing
Without the promise
Of light.

I love this “love declaration” … Lucky woman this “Lady”…
Thanks for reading this one …
My wife – of course!
This is also linked to a story about a ladder (hence “the ladder that helps me fall safely”)
I read every poem or short story… and I’m not sure she is a ladder, she could be, according to my point of view, a rope that allows you to be safe to never fall down… but don’t care for me, it’s a thought… love her.
Your wife is very lucky…and you too, of course…Great words in this poem…
