The Janus Faces.

… and,

Oh

The faces

Young-again,

Old-once Janus

Parades before

Our inner eye

On these

Altering-rainbow days:

Those with enchanting music

In, around and behind

Their unforgettable smiles,

The rogues, the teachers,

The dancers, the players;

Those that ran away

When the storms came near,

Those that drew closer.

Heroes moved on …

Those still to kiss

Their glory-moments,

The clowns, the lovers,

the dream-dream dreamers.

And, somewhere, haunting the

February spaces between

These delightful memories

The faces we have yet to meet.
